The Ola Story

Being full time working parents, frequently on business trips, Ola’s co-founders felt a need to have an extra pair of eyes looking out for their loved ones, homes and businesses. Security cameras seemed like a great option.

However, none of the premium cameras they invested in delivered on the promise of giving peace of mind. Other than the ability to view live video, these premium cameras only sent an endless stream of meaningless alerts which caused even more anxiety.

Sure, it was great knowing every time Tiger the family cat changed its sleeping position or each time the tree branches knocked on the window, yet these hi-tech cameras could not alert them on what truly mattered.

Hence, the idea to create a truly useful, smart security camera that would provide only meaningful alerts and immediate answers rather than raise additional questions. A camera that performs as a personal security assistant, anticipating your security needs. A camera that allowed you to react rather than just review.
Driven by these ideas, the Ola Camera was created.

Comes COVID-19 pandemic when our beloved parents had to be isolated for their own protection. We just couldn’t sit idly by, knowing hundreds of millions of seniors have been disconnected from their families and friends. We put together Ola’s best minds and scientists to create a service to help seniors stay connected to their families, while still keeping their independence, free will, and choice to grow older in their own homes.

Ola Care offers great peace of mind to the seniors families as well and alerts only on what matters most. The system learns the senior’s life patterns, so it can identify abnormalities or health and mental deterioration, this in turn will help the seniors and their loved ones stay on top of things and prevent catastrophes before they occur.
